KQ: What does the rainforest look like?

Picture a rainforest and you will see lots and lots (and lots) of trees and vegetation. But not all the trees are the same species nor are they same height.

A rainforest is made up of different layers starting at the forest floor all the way up to the emergent layer. Did you know that the tallest trees in the Amazon rainforest can grow up to 60 metres high?

Take a look at the PowerPoint which explains the layers of the rainforest and complete the task.
