The last week of Year 3!

Hey Year 3 - We made it!

When we think back to Year 3, we'll always remember it as the time when we couldn't come to school because of lockdown. It has been a difficult time when we may feel that the things we love and enjoy have been taken away from us. For example, we were unable to go to school, see our friends and family, take part in after-school activities or visit our favourite places.

BUT, during this difficult time, you may have learnt new skills, discovered new talents and found more of your special qualities and we need to capture and celebrate these positives too so we'd like you to take some time to think about what you have achieved during lockdown.

Think about the following 3 questions and complete each activity. When you have completed them, display them somewhere you can see and be proud of them each day and where you can look back on them if you're having a difficult day.

Don't forget to e-mail us with your wonderful achievements - we can't wait to see them!

Year 3 hasn't been all about the lockdown though! You have achieved some wonderful learning, worked hard towards your targets, made new friends and got used to doing all this in a totally new school! Wow! We are so very proud of you and all you have achieved! Each and every one of you have been fantastic and Miss Evans and Miss Daly will miss you all very much.  It has been a pleasure to teach you, watch you learn and grow and help you face any challenges. laugh

We'd like you to have a think about your time in Year 3 and tell us all about it. Take a look at the activity cards below which will help you think about your time in Year 3.  Work your way through them this week and maybe write a report or draw a poster about your time with us.

Going in to Year 4 might seem scary as well as exciting and that is perfectly normal but when you see how much you have achieved in Year 3, you will realise that...
