I can't believe we're nearly at the end of Year 3 - doesn't time fly?! This week, we have been finishing off our Micro:Bit and creating an advert for it. We then had to pitch our advert to the rest of the class in a 'Dragon's Den' style. We had lots of expensive micro:bits, some even priced at £500! On Friday, we had a TTRockstars battle with 3D and the children took great pride in knowing that they won. Well done, 3G!

Readers of the week: Mikaiah and Thea

A shorter week this week but still as busy as ever! We have been continuing to code our micro:bit in D.T this week and have been thinking about the inputs that we would need to give it to perform a function. Some of the children even figured out how to make it detect sound! In Geography, we have researched a European country and done a lovely double page spread on it. Finally, we took Maths outside this week and went onto the playground with our 'right angle finders' to see how many right angles we could spot.

Monday 19th - Friday 23rd June

Achievers of the week: Musab, Holly and Felza

This week, we have been writing hotel reviews for The Nothing to See Here Hotel - some of the children clearly have bright futures in TripAdvisor reviewing! We have also been looking at AM and PM in Maths, as well as continuing to tell the time to the minute.

Monday 12th - Friday 16th June

Achievers of the week: Holly, Thea and Stephen

I can't believe we're near the end of the year already - hasn't time flown by?! This week, we have had a visit from Ella Kinzett who is a footballer. She put us through our paces in a fitness circuit! We have been looking at continents in Geography and have explored the different countries in Europe. We used our atlas skills to locate the countries and looked at the countries on the equator, as well as the kinds of climates in those countries.
