Monday 22nd March - Friday 26th March

This week we have been learning about the differences between Athens and Sparta and the long battle between the two cities during the Ancient Greek period. We presented our learning in lots of creative ways and then decided which city we would prefer to have lived in.

In English, we have continued to read Wonderscape.  Each team wrote a set of VIPER questions for an opposing team to answer based on what had been read.
On Tuesday, the whole school marked one year since the first coronavirus lockdown with a minute's silence and reflection.
6ET had lots of fun completing an Easter egg hunt and eating Easter cake that Miss Tidman had made.  There is a link below if you fancy making it over the holidays.

Monday 15th March - Friday 19th March

Another great week in 6ET with lots of learning and laughs! This week we have finished our science topic by presenting our learning to each other, in maths we continued to practise drawing line graphs independently.  We also celebrated Red Nose Day by sharing jokes, creating Babybel images and designing our own superheroes.

What a fantastic week back! It is lovely to be back together as team 6ET!

We have enjoyed reading Wonderscape this week.

We have created artwork inspired by the the book cover and we have created user guides for any new 'Wanderers' that will enter the Wonderscape game.

In maths we have been collecting, presenting and analysing data. We have answered the questions- Is black the most popular car colour and What is the most common height of children in 6ET? Have a look at the photos below of us tallying car colours passing school and measuring our class mates heights.
