Last week in science, you were working in groups researching a specific main body organ in preparation for your presentation.   For the next two weeks in science, I would like you to continue to look at a body organ of your choice- it doesn't have to be the same one you looked at in school.  You can choose from.....

  • Brain
  • Lungs
  • Kidney
  • Liver
  • Intestine/bowels
  • Kidney
  • Stomach
  • heart

I would like you to work on putting together a mini presentation answering the following questions: What the function of the organ is?   What system does it belongs to? How to keep it healthy (nutrients, excerise, diet)?  What can happen if it’s not kept healthy? Any other facts.  Your presentation could be...

  • an informative poster
  • power point
  • leaflet
  • video

You may have your own idea that you wish to use.  You could even create a 3D model of the organ with labels; using resources that you have at home or I've added a couple of recipes below if you fancied creating your model using salt dough or home-made playdoh.
