WOW! What a fantastic half-term Year 5 have had in maths. 5R have been working incredibly hard and making brilliant progress.

We began by revisiting our understanding of 2D shapes and their properties, before moving on to explore different types of angles. It’s safe to say that 5R are now angle experts! We put our learning into practice by identifying a range of angles, developing our estimation skills, and mastering the use of a protractor to measure accurately. This knowledge has helped us calculate missing angles on straight lines, around a point, and within various shapes.
