WALT: Show our knowledge of fractions and decimals
To finish off our learning about decimals and fractions, we would like you to create your own lesson about decimals to teach to Year 3. You could make a poster, a video or PowerPoint. Think about the learning we have done over the last two weeks. What have you enjoyed? What would you want to know before starting the learning on decimals?
Send your work in to firstname.lastname@example.org.
WALT: Create our own rainforest creature
Have a go at designing your own rainforest creature. Think about what you know about the animals that live in the rainforest. What does an animal who lives in the rainforest need to survive the hot climate?
Once you have drawn your animal, write a description of it using noun phrases and fronted adverbials. Describe what it looks like, how it moves through the rainforest and any extra characteristics that make your animal special!
