This half-term we are reading The Nowhere Emporium. It is Blue Peter's 2016 best story winner by Ross MacKenzie.

"When the mysterious Nowhere Emporium arrives in Glasgow, orphan Daniel Holmes stumbles upon it quite by accident. Before long the 'shop from nowhere' and its owner Mr Silver draw Daniel into a breathtaking world of magic and enchantment!"

We will be using this wonderful book as a stimulus to support our writing in a variety of genres such as:

  • A diary entry in role as Daniel's character
  • A setting description of the Nowhere Emporium
  • A balanced argument about who is more powerful Silver or Sharpe?

A diary entry written in the first person.
