It's been Equalities Week at VPJS and Year 4 have been learning about the Republic of Korea. We've looked at where South Korea is in the world, who lives there and even tried some typical South Korean snacks! On Tuesday, we were really lucky to have a story teller come in and share a story set about a family in India. In English, we looked at 'The Name Jar'; a story about a young Korean girl who moves to America and worries about not having an American name. In groups we used drama to recreate the different scenes and retell the story. We then performed our pieces to 4H. Everyone did really well and 4S should be super proud of what they created!
