STEM WEEK 2021 - what a fabulous week researching the importance of allotment spaces and growing your own fruit and veg. Some children have even been to visit an allotment and made soup.

Monday 10th - Friday 15th October This week in D&T the class have been showing determination to build their structures. Some pairs were successful but we were impressed that no one gave up!

We absolutely loved the Drum Fit session on Wednesday!

Monday 4th - Friday 8th October Children were learning how to shoot into the baskets today using the BEEF techniques (Balance, elbows, eyes, follow through) and also the jump shot

Monday 27th September - 1st October 2021 Some of the children became the teacher this week. They had the opportunity to teach and ask questions about calculation methods

Monday 20th - Friday 24th September The children have been continuing to research black and Asian historical figures this week in history. Our main focus was finding out more about Rosa Parks and what she did to help change the world.

Children challenging themselves in maths this week looking at numbers up to a million!

Monday 13th - 17th September The children in 5M have started their ukulele lessons this week and it sounded great! They have also started their new history topic on black and Asian historical figures.

A great start to PE for the children in 5M. We were looking at the 'Triple Threat' stance this week and trying some challenges with our control of the basketball.
